Alice Springs

Dear All,

We are heading off tomorrow to Alice Springs before going to Newhaven for the annual bird survey. At this stage (road conditions willing) we will be getting to Alice on Friday and will have a day spare. Can anyone advise whether we can access the sewage farm? If so, is it easy to find?? If not, any other suggestions for an easy day of laid back birding.

Many thanks

Judith

Heritage Park is a good spot, always good for birds but beware of their new small white self contained box huts unless you are size 6 or less. Ask to see units first. There are larger rooms in the older buildings and they have been good value. Prices were OK Red-chested (GreyCrowned) Babbler regularly, Grey Falcon several times over 6 years and many others. We hope to be there later too sometime in July August so let me know what you see. regards Ian May St Helens, Tas. ———————————————————————— Belinda & Bill wrote: _______________________________________________ Birding-Aus mailing list Birding-Aus@birding-aus.org To change settings or unsubscribe visit: http://birding-aus.org/mailman/listinfo/birding-aus_birding-aus.org
