Hello all. Yesterday I returned from a trip across Northern Aus and will eventually put together a trip report. One of the highlights was calling in at Bitter Springs to see the Red Goshawks again. As Nick Leseberg reported recently they have raised a chick. It is now quite large and probably only a week or so from leaving the nest. I was fortunate to witness an adult feeding the chick. But the nest is a fair way back from the road on private property, so I couldn’t be sure there was only one. About a half an hour later I came across my first white morph Grey Goshawk near the thermal pools. Not a bad afternoon’s birding! Steve Murray ===============================
