Possible Grey Wagtail

Hi Folks, A possible Grey Wagtail has been reported yesterday north of Mareeba, Far North Queensland. We’ve put more info on our blog along with some images of what can be seen on the Daintree River at the moment. We will try and take a trip out today to check out the wagtail. http://kingfisherparkbirdwatchers.blogspot.com.au/ Cheers, Keith & Lindsay. — Keith & Lindsay Fisher Kingfisher Park Birdwatchers Lodge RN 6 Mt. Hi Folks, We did try to find the reported Grey Wagtail at Lake Evan (Brady Road Swamp), but the closest we came was an Australian Pipit. 7 Australian Pratincole were of interest here as they have been difficult to find in the region. Todays list for the site can be found at http://www.eremaea.com/Lists.aspx?List=206136. Nearby Lake Mitchell had an Oriental Plover present with a few Sharp-tailed Sandpiper – reported by Travelling Naturalist Tour group who were also looking for Grey Wagtail. Cheers, Keith & Lindsay.
