By Birding-Aus, on May 12th, 2017 Hi All. Bustards were once widespread including the Southern States, and are a Protected Species. Exceptions include shooting in Self Defence, and the Indigenous hunting for traditional food. Hand(s) up if you have seen an unstuffed Bustard south of the border. Sad

By Birding-Aus, on May 11th, 2017 After the heavy fine handed out in March 2013 to a shooter for shooting a Freckled Duck ( $1000 fine with $5000 costs ) The Field and Game applied in 2014 to the D P I to allow shooters to shoot one Freckled Duck.

By allowing each shooter to shoot one Freckled Duck they have taken the fear of being fined away from the shooters.

West side of Lake Cooper to have the sun behind me and arrived back before sunrise Wed. to do the East side.
