Dear Birding-Aus List,

My wife and I are visiting Australia and recently came across 2 emus in Warby Ovens NP in Victoria.

Winter at the Western Treatment Plant

A lovely crisp, sunny, winter’s day at the Western Treatment Plant (Werribee, VIC) on Sunday produced some nice sightings, including:

Several Banded Lapwing back at the ‘usual’ site

Maybe 30 Banded Stilt (at Avalon Beach ponds)
