Oil Palm Plantations

Hi All

Having driven through and birded the ornithological deserts of thousands of acres of Malaysian Oil Palm plantations, it would be interesting to know how rainforest species utilise them in New Britain. Apart from Edge Habitat shelter.. No nesting holes, no undergrowth. Do they eat the flowers or fruit?

White-headed Pigeon’s status in Melbourne VIC

For the past 2 months or so a pair of White-headed Pigeons have been recorded (with good pics) in Brighton, Melbourne, about 9km from the CBD.
