Optus – removal of osprey nest.

Good morning all.

A few weeks ago Optus removed the osprey nest from its phone tower at Charles Darwin University, Casuarina campus, Darwin, after the chicks fledged and now wants to install nesting prevention spikes. They have refused to install a nesting platform like they have in other coastal communities around Australia.

Can anyone help again to identify this bird

Superb Wren fledgling

Male and female feeding a very large and very loud fledgling. I thought it was a cuckoo at first. At least it survived the recent heavy but short lived showers in this Sydney inner-west location.
