By Birding-Aus, on May 29th, 2018 For those interested and live in the Kingscliff NSW area On Saturday afternoon…there were 4-5 Glossy black Cockatoos on a quiet side road, drinking out of a puddle They were there in the Sheoakes at about 4:30pm on an overcast day There had been a little rain that day
Cars would drive up to them . . . → Read More: Glossy Black cockatoo
By Birding-Aus, on May 28th, 2018 We have just spent a week in Adelaide and I was surprised not to see a single Common Myna. Looking at eBird it seems they haven’t made it across the Mallee. Is this just because they don’t like the mallee habitat or is there some other reason?

By Birding-Aus, on May 28th, 2018 A friend told me that other day that he had seen this species killing the young of other birds. Have any Birding Aussers witnessed this?
Thanks

By Bill Stent, on May 28th, 2018 Walking home through Hays Paddock in Kew East this evening, there were about 20 Gang Gangs up the top end of Glass Creek. I’ve not seen this many here before.

The weather is still cold (6*C) and windy, and I needed both mittens and a woollen cap today. I started out at the airport, where I gave up yesterday. Little to . . . → Read More: ….and furthermore
