Great video that brings back a few memories for me too…and lovely clean early spring plumages…at the other end of the year they’re not called “confusing fall warblers” for nothing. The only bit I missed was the birders slapping away mozzies and other biters which was a spring time feature in Ontario (I lived almost due north of Rochester where these people were). Having seen several warblers on my 2 1/2 month trip to the US in 2009, I cannot help but agree! They soon became one of my favourite bird taxa.
Thanks much Tom – nicely done video. I discovered why Americans love warblers 3 years ago when visiting the mid-west in May. Warblers are why I’ve timed my fellowship visit to Washington for this April-May!
