Bourke’s Parrot Distribution in Eastern NSW

Hi Folks.
I was curious about Bourke's parrot distribution in NSW.  Specifically are they ever seen between Griffith and Dubbo?  What about other eastern areas in NSW?
It appears if I have Ebird correctly that they only come as far east as Bourke and as far south as Broken Hill in NSW or there abouts.
thanks so much for your input!

Thanks very much Tim for the information.  I am getting a report from the Lake Cargelligo region that seems promising.  This makes me wonder if remote outback stations may have Bourkies but they go under reported in NSW.thanks!DonOn Sun, Sep 1, 2019 at 3:46 PM Tim Hosking <Tim.Hosking@environment.nsw.gov.au> wrote:

    Hi Don,

I’ve only heard of a few records outside the area you describe through the birding grapevine, and those were dubious IDs.

I wouldn’t be surprised for them to be occasionally in the area east of Bourke and north of the Barwon River though (Narran Lakes/lightning ridge area).
