I am assuming that the WTP will be open for visitors this Sunday. A friend wishes to come down from Canberra to see the Stilt sandpiper, the Long-toed stint and whatever else is around. Unfortunately, I cannot go down that day – is there someone planning a visit on Sunday who might be able to help out Scott Ryan please?

If anyone knows that it is, or it is to be, closed this weekend could they please let me know (gregmhunt@bigpond.com.au) and I’ll pass on the unfortunate news.

He should call 03 9235 2828 to check about access. The voicemail message on that number no longer mentions anything about closure (it did yesterday) so presumably it is now reopened, but best speak to Margaret or Tracie at Melbourne Water to be sure.
