Hello Mike and Other ObserversNoticed 6 Fork-tailed Swifts circling and feeding today at 11.50am when collecting washing. There may have been more before I noticed them. They had disappered before I coud get the binoculars. There was a front moving in. Joan Wharton

Thanks Joan for sharing your swift sighting. So even hanging out the washing can be an exciting experience in Sydney. While most FTS (Pacific Swifts) are in the Top End and nw W.A. at the moment, there are a few scattered right around the coast, and still some in Central & SE Asia. All the WTNT appear to have reached Australia. Happy birding Mike
