Greetings Is anyone aware of anywhere in Bunyip State Park where you can see Spotted Quail-thrush. I’m advised of a few tracks, but person last saw them 3 years ago. Would appreciate any more up to date advice. Many thanks Wendy McWilliams Glen Waverley _______________________________________________ Birding-Aus mailing list Birding-Aus@birding-aus.org To change settings or unsubscribe visit: http://birding-aus.org/mailman/listinfo/birding-aus_birding-aus.org
Hi John & Wendy, I’m not sure about exactly where in Bunyip SP is best, but I’ve always had them easily in the Brisbane Ranges NP, about the same distance away from Melb as Bunyip, but in opposite direction. The site I always saw them here was at Anakie Gorge – even along the rd into the carpark there was great for them but I was always there very early in the morning… Sorry I can’t help with Bunyip.
