Eurasian Magpie at Port Hedland, WA

G’day everyone, The WA Sightings officer has asked me to pass on a report of Eurasian Magpie from Finucane Island at Port Hedland, on the part of the island directly opposit Port Hedland. Reported by John Robinson (with a photo), and has apparently been around for a few days. I would guess ship-assisted and I assume the Dept of Ag will be on to it, but may be of interest if you’re up that way. Cheers,John ===============================

A bit morbid but it may be the best way to get DNA and a positive Id though :-(

Can someone privately send me the contact details of the guy with the photo please? Note, likely to be Black-billed Magpie. My email is simon@bird-o.com.

    Any more details on location?

    Ta,

    Simon
