Louise and I recently returned from a birding trip to eastern Turkey which was a fantastic experience. We had a target list of 51 potential life birds and managed to see 48 of them – and we had a very interesting time doing it as it is a fascinating country with breathtaking scenery.
I have written a detailed trip report which runs to 11MB unfortunately (MS Word97) as it has quite a lot of photos in it. If anybody would like a copy, please let me know and I will forward one to you.
Cheers
Roger McGovern

Hi Roger,
You might be interested in Andrew Skeoch and Sarah Koschak’s blog posts. They spent several months traveling and making nature sound recordings in Turkey earlier this year. Andrew’s recordings are always superb and Sarah is a fantastic photographer so there is a nice mix of sound and images.
