Observers in the Clarence Valley, north coast NSW, have been reporting flocks of Spangled Drongos moving through the area in the last few days, apparently moving north. At midday today I had a flock of 28+ foraging in bushland and exotic pine forest at Coutts Crossing. As far as I can recall this is the largest flock that I have ever seen. I know that Tony Rose had 50+ at Forster some years back. Is anyone else seeing flocks of Spangled Drongos on the move?
