Seeing all 234 bird families in the world

I recently fulfilled a long-standing ambition to see all of the world’s 234 bird families (according to the ebird-Clements taxonomy to which I subscribe). Having done so, people have suggested I pen a few words to describe that experience. Here they are, with some pics: sunshinecoastbirds.blogspot.com.au/2016/01/a-feast-of-feathers-seeing-worlds-234.html As others have commented on birding-aus recently, I think it’s better to provide links for folk to read further on subjects of interest to them, rather than cluttering up the reading lists.
