I am planning a trip into the outback in late August or early September to look for some of the arid country specialities.
Birds on my hit list include Letter-winged Kite, Grey Falcon, Grey Grasswren and Inland Dotterel, plus Banded Whiteface if time permits.
I have a Subaru Forester which I am happy to drive, or I would be happy to join someone else in a “proper” 4WD or to take both if appropriate.
