Hi Birders! There are currently a pair of Pied Heron in full breeding plumage at Alice Spring Sewage Ponds- flowing crests and neck plumes, bright yellow beaks, lush blue-grey backs: absolutely stunning birds. They are hanging around the ponds in the SE corner of the site with a 50+ flock of Straw-necked Ibis.
