Mystery bird call at Wyperfeld

Can anyone identify the bird in this very short recording: http://snd.sc/1bDxKtg It was recorded near the start of the Discovery walk a few weeks ago. It sounds a little like a Spotted Pardalote to me, but I haven’t heard one calling with as complex a pattern as that. Maybe a Weebill? Could it be a Redthroat? Hi Peter, Unless there are two species calling at once, the buzzing type calls in the middle sound a lot like Inland Thornbill, have you eliminated them from your possibles? Allan Richardson There doesn’t appear to be a break between the song and the buzzing type calls On 17/11/2013, at 8:40 AM, Peter Shute wrote: =============================== To unsubscribe from this mailing list, send the message: unsubscribe (in the body of the message, with no Subject line) http://birding-aus.org ===============================
