Eastern Grass Owl at Cooper Creek near Moomba SA. 22 June 2012

g’Day all

During October, i posted on Eremea SA, a sighting of Eastern Grass Owl from Cooper Creek near Moomba SA, observed and photographed on 22 June 2012. Because the observations were posted to the archive, it did not appear in recent sightings and was easily overlooked. One observer commented to me they would like to have looked when it was first posted but they were unaware. I do not know if there is any way to raise attention to a new post to the archive in a manner similar to a post to recent sightings? Does anyone have any suggestions?

For the record enter 22 June 2012 into the following link see http://www.eremaea.com/BirdlineArchives.aspx?Birdline=12

    G’day Ian

What I do is get a weekly email summary from all the Eremaea state lists (http://www.eremaea.com/MyNotifications.aspx) and I get each post to the Victorian as a Twitter link @birdlinevic.

I assume you can use Twitter to get posts from other states.

The Twitter option doesn’t seem to be mentioned on the Eremaea site so I can’t remember where I learnt about it.

    Cheers Steve

    Ian,

Perhaps if at time of posting on Eremea, you were to do a duplicate post on Birding-Aus, saying that photographs were available on Eremea?

    Cheers,

    Carl Clifford
