Hi Folks, Graham Harrington has asked us to post this opportunity to be involved in an ongoing survey.
“BirdLife Northern Queensland are hoping to mount a helicopter survey for Carpentarian Grasswrens in Lawn Hill (Boodjamulla) National Park in February. They have two vacant positions. Applicants must be physically fit and be able to hear high-piched sounds. The probable dates for the survey are 19-27 February. We are waiting on news of our application for funding – if that fails then so does the survey. Participants will have to get themselves to Mount Isa or Cairns. Food and accommodation at Lawn Hill will be provided. Please contact Graham Harrington at 07 4096 5051 or riflebird@activ8.net.au
