Birdline ACT (NEW)

Complimenting Tim Dolby’s recent posting, I would like to add that that Birdline ACT is now too up and running. For further information see http://www.eremaea.com or directly at http://www.eremaea.com/BirdlineRecentSightings.aspx?Birdline=11

Birdline ACT is a site for the reporting of rare or unusual birds outside their normal range, unusually high or low numbers, early or late arrivals or departures for migrant species and interesting behaviour or unusual habitat usage.

I think your remit should also cover another category: birds that are reisdent spp but are rarely seen, eg Cicadabird, Brush Bronzewing and Olive Whistler (btw, has anyone seen an Olive Whistler in the ACT in the last ten years?)
