Birding in Hong Kong

I’ll be spending a week in Hong Kong at the end of this month. I have visited several times before and birded on a number of occasions (including with a local guide) with 2 previous visits to Mai Po.

Does anyone have any special suggestions re sites, local guides, any other up-to-date info that might be of assistance?

Is a trip across to mainland China worth contemplating?

Thanks. Richard

    Hi Richard,

I had a great day in Hong Kong in April using a guide via walks@walkhongkong.com

Roger (who has recently retired as a birding guide) took me to a number of unique locations in the north on the border.

David Diskin is now running birding services for Walk Hong Kong. dadiskin@netvigator.com
