Aussie birds in Africa

G’day all I’m watching a very good BBC doco “What Darwin didn’t know” via YouTube. Every time they go to Africa the soundtrack includes Rufous Whistler, Brown Honeyeater and a lovely Gerygone call. I recommend the doco if you can get past this annoyance. Perhaps they have a tape marked ‘SA Birds’ in the sound effects file, and think it means South Africa, not South Australia? We sometimes place people who make immaculately presented fodder for the box on a pedestal – the apparent quality of the medium often demands that.
