Good question. When I organised the Perth pelagic trips, I simply followed the types of trip reports from elsewhere. But in 15 years, noone has asked to be deleted. In the early reports I used to put links to their email addresses on my web site version, but I stopped doing this when spam became a problem.
I must admit that I do scan through the list of participants when I read a pelagic trip report from the eastern states.
