New bird family found

A new bird family, containing one species the Spotted Wren-Babbler Elachura formosa has been described. It ranges from the East Himalayas to SE China. It has already been demonstrated that 4 spp of “Wren-Babblers” were not babblers, they are now IOC family Pnoepygidae. This is another stage in unpacking the Babblers.
