John Young has volunteered to give a one off presentation to a BirdLife Townsville meeting on his recent finding of the Night Parrot. Interested birders and the public are invited to attend the meeting which will be held on Saturday 8 February 2014 at 2.00 pm. Together with details of his long and arduous search, John’s presentation will contain photos and a short video of the Night Parrot. A venue in Townsville has not been decided on yet as we are unsure on what the interest will be and how many would want to attend. If you are interested in attending please email your intention to BirdLife Townsville at contact@birdlifetownsville.org.au as soon as possible.
