For info: E Grass Owl on French Island

For the information of list members in Victoria. Re the Eastern Grass Owl seen at Tortoise Head on French Island last Saturday. There is an opportunity to join one of the observers (Ken Harris) to try and find/see it tomorrow. If you would like to join Ken for the day then get to Stony Point on the Mornington Peninsula in time for the 10.15am ferry to Tankerton. Tickets are $12- each way for the ferry and you would need to go prepared to be out (walking) for the day I expect. Note that you can get trains to/from Stony Point. First one to Frankston then change for the Stony Point line.
