I have just heard a story about somebody who claimed to have seen two Princess Parrots, presumably the same pair ( & the same observer?) at Cadney Park roadhouse on 19th August.
Looking at Cadney Park on Google Earth, it is in an interesting place, about 80 km south of Marla. There is parallel dune desert only about 15 km to the west and extensive watercourses (presumably tree lined) just to the east, seemingly good Princess Parrot habitat. It might be worth more than a brief stop if anybody is passing through, or better still a few enquiries amongst the local station people.
