ID help – Robin

Hi seeking assistance with an identification of this robin sighted today at Oxley Creek Common, Brisbane Southside.

Rose Robin is a regular in the cooler months, however this one appears different somewhat in appearance and behaviour (was feeding on occasion low to the ground amongst fallen dead branches).

Robert

Hi Robert, It does look like a female Rose Robin. The body shape and colour are right and it has white edges to its tail. They do feed low down as well as high in trees. Cheers, Merrilyn
