Why do you split Yellow Rosella and not Adelaide Rosella?
I spoke with Leo Joseph at an Argyle Birdwatch event a couple of years ago.
He showed some DNA analysis of the Crimson Rosella complex. Apparently, the Crimson Rosella in north Queensland is further apart from the Crimson Rosella in the south east, than the Yellow and Adelaide Rosellas are from the Crimson Rosella, but that none of them are clear cut. But he wouldn’t be drawn on how this complex should be defined. It was an example that DNA analysis is not a cut & dried way of separating species.
Also, if you split Mallee Ringneck, what do you do with the ringnecks in the Flinders Ranges in SA? I know that Clements splits Western and Eastern Ringneck, but I am unsure where the Flinders Ranges birds go.
His comment on the shrike-tits is that everyone expects them to be separated, but it is unlikely that anyone will ever do the analysis, as it is difficult to get enough DNA samples of the “Northern” Shrike-tit.

I have the latest 3.2 IOC list and it does not show the Hooded Robin or Scrub-robin splits – and they do not appear on their list of potential splits for 3.3. You say you have based this on recent papers – do you know if they are being considered by the IOC at all?
