How about you subscribe to the LA County Birds email group. You are sure to get many leads and contacts. I got lots of offers when I planned a trip there. But note they are far more strict about keeping on message than birding aus is. Only allow emails directly about local birds. I assume to subscribe you follow as below without the “un”.
