I was lured! and what a great blog it is Chris, well done. Great to see the mix of birds and old warbirds. I havent seen an RNZAF Sunderland for a long while and have very fond memories of walking through the prototype Concorde at the Yeovilton Naval Air Museum back in the nineties, one of the best air museums I have visited and down the road was the falconry centre where I first heard the swoosh sound of a Peregrine Falcon in full dive right beside my shoulder – an unforgettable sound that I didnt hear again until earlier this year when I heard (and then saw) a Peregrine dive on some shore birds at Lake Junin in Peru – great stuff!
