Sunshine Coast mangrove birds

A morning in the mangroves of Coochin Creek, Sunshine Coast. See here for pictures plus more records of Shining Flycatcher (12 terrorities now in a small area of mangroves!) and a further note on the possibility of Broad-billed Flycatcher turning up in southeast Queensland.

Hi Greg Nice article again about your mangrove patch, & some really nice shots too. I am very interested in any pics that you can manage of the Broad-billed type flycatchers that you are seeing there – it is important though that you do try to get shots of their undertails as well as their under- & uppper-parts. Also any shots of frons/crown shape will be good to see too. Cheers for now, Martin Cachard,Cairns,0428 782 808
