Cheap pelagics – no parrots

Hi all

This may be of interest to some of the more keen pelagic birders out there or at least the ones who don’t like small boats!

http://www.pocruises.com.au/Pages/3-days-sale.aspx

I think it starts at 07.00 Sat morning – tomorrow.

Have to say that pelagic birding from a ship with cabin service, restaurant, bars and disco is always preferable to some of the boats I’ve been on;-)

(No offense to them either);-)

Best

Alan

Ha! Bill Oddie would refer to this writer as a Dude Birder.

    Depends how nicely you ask.

Corben, Roberts and myself re-directed a Russian cruise liner once when we weren’t far enough off shore;-)

I suspect it was our willingness to drink vodka and Greg’s foray into the crew bar one night that helped;-)

But will they burley??? And stop the boat for a rare bird??????
