Hi Karri, If you look on eBird (ebird.org/map/blbbut2?neg=true&env.minX=&env.minY=&env.maxX=&env.maxY=&zh=false&gp=false&ev=Z&mr=1-12&bmo=1&emo=12&yr=all&byr=1900&eyr=2019) it shows the species range map for the Black-breasted Buttonquail. There doesn’t seem to be any recordings of it too near Queen Mary Falls, but there are recordings of it not too far away to the North East.
