Yes ! optus

It seems deeply shocking in this day & age that, at Charles Darwin University (Darwin) a few weeks ago, Optus, having removed the osprey nest from its phone tower on the Casuarina campus after the chicks fledged, now intends to install nesting prevention spikes.

All across Australia & the world, these birds are being supported . . . → Read More: Yes ! optus

Little Ravens chase and kill Sharp-tailed Sandpiper today at WTP

Several years ago up on the Kalakoopa Creek south Simpson, I watched an Australian Raven chase and kill a Blue Bonnet, the Ravens had young in a nest and it appeared that the blue Bonnets were a common source of food, going by the heaps of feathers, and Blue Bonnets in the area with no . . . → Read More: Little Ravens chase and kill Sharp-tailed Sandpiper today at WTP
